Abstract: This study aimed to understand how the use of inquiry tasks contributes to change the of student’s alternative conceptions on the theme electric current and electrical circuits. Developed by five inquiry tasks on the subject of electric current and electrical circuits. To achieve these goal, it was used a qualitative research methodology. Several data collection tools were used: naturalistic observation, group interview focused and written documents. The results show a positive evolution concerning alternative conceptions towards the approached concepts on this topic.
Keywords: inquiry tasks, electricity, alternative conceptions
