Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to share some ideas about an experiment in elementary teacher training. Trying to answer the needs of the pre-service teachers, to overcome negative attitudes towards geometry, to help them to develop creativity and soft skills was decided to challenge our students and present them a group task. This task should challenge and urge them to be creative, to listen to and to argue with their colleagues, to define goals, to make teamwork. Related to content knowledge, pre-service teachers developed their geometrical knowledge and revealed originality and flexibility in their proposals to group work.
Keywords: Geometry, Teacher training, Project, Creativity.
